Homemade Granola

Making your own granola means you know exactly what has gone into it. It’s a delicious way to start the day. Oats, nuts and seeds bound together with a little honey or maple syrup

Ingredients
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds 150g honey or maple syrup 30ml of butter
30g flaked almonds
300g rolled oats
100g raisins

Here’s how:

Heat the oven to 130°C
Mix the oil and honey together
Pour in all the remaining ingredients, except for the raisins, and mix together. Spread the granola out evenly onto two baking sheets.
Bake for 15 mins, then mix in the raisins and bake for a further 10 mins. Remove and leave too cool.
Store the granola in an airtight container for up to a month.

Serve with Greek yogurt and berries.
