Miso and Sea Salt Fudge

Indulge in some melt-in-the-mouth fudge made with rich condensed milk, with miso and sea salt for a deep flavour. The perfect year-round treat. I made this recipe with my kids for a personal gift for my grandparents. They loved making it and my grandparents loved the fudge even more. It just goes to show, making a gift goes along way and tastes amazing.

Ingredients

397g tin condensed milk 150ml milk
450g demerara sugar 115g salted butter

1 tsp red miso paste 1 tbsp sea salt

Here’s how:

Place all the ingredients, apart from the sea salt, into a large pan on a low heat. Once the ingredients have melted turn the heat up and continue to cook until the mixture hits 113c -115c, then remove from the heat and stir until it thickens.
Line a 20cm square tin with parchment and spoon in the fudge.

Spread the mixture out flat and sprinkle the sea salt over the fudge. Leave the fudge to cool before cutting into cubes.
